Course Description: This First Aid unit is designed to equip Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) students with essential knowledge and practical skills in emergency response and basic medical care. The course emphasizes the importance of immediate action during accidents, injuries, and sudden illnesses to preserve life, prevent further harm, and promote recovery. Students will learn fundamental first aid procedures, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), wound care, fracture management, choking relief, and handling common medical emergencies.

By integrating theory with hands-on practice, the course ensures students can confidently assess situations, provide appropriate interventions, and collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals when necessary.
